Ryanne Giorgione is a registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #8338) under the supervision of Lisa Bertelle, LMFT. She earned a master’s degree in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University in 2020 and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Penn State University in 2017. Ryanne utilizes an eclectic and person-centered approach, meaning clients are empowered to take an active role in therapy knowing they will always be met with empathy and unconditional positive regard. Ryanne believes every individual is unique, so she tailors her approach to meet each person’s specific needs and preferences.
Ryanne’s previous clinical experiences include working in outpatient mental health settings, residential treatment centers, and public schools with children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, identity challenges, and life transitions. Ryanne has two years of experience providing therapy services to survivors of sexual assault and their families. She utilizes trauma-informed practices and focuses on creating spaces where clients can recreate a sense of safety. Ryanne is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Ryanne grew up within a military family and understands the unique set of challenges service members and their families are often faced with.
