Lina Shaya is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, practicing under the clinical supervision of Lisa Bertelle, LMFT license #40984. Lina has a passion for helping people heal from complex trauma, PTSD, and life’s most challenging moments. Her work is grounded in trauma-informed care and draws from evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients manage emotions, cope with stress, and build lasting resilience.
Lina has experience in crisis residential and acute adult outpatient settings. She has supported individuals through acute mental health crises, significant trauma histories, and co-occurring concerns such as anxiety, depression, addiction, and life transitions. Lina also have an understanding of the unique stressors faced by first responders with family members who are first responders. I provide a safe, supportive space for clients to process experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful change, both personally and professionally.
