Kacie Rice, APCC

Kacie is a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #9309) and Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #154838) under the supervision of Lisa Bertelle (LMFT #40984). Kacie is passionate about supporting clients in discovering their inner strength and building meaningful change. She approaches each therapeutic relationship with warmth, curiosity, and honors the unique experiences every individual brings.

Her approach is collaborative and adaptable , drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Whether clients are seeking practical coping tools or space for deeper emotional healing, she adapts her work to meet their evolving needs.

Kacie’s clinical background is rooted in school-based mental health, where she has worked with children, adolescents, and young adults in both individual and group settings. She has supported clients through a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and challenges related to neurodivergence. Her work is rooted in creating a sense of emotional safety, trust and connection, allowing clients to show up authentically and grow at their own pace.

Kacie also gained valuable experience working with adult survivors of trauma and abuse through her training at New Vision Counseling. There, she focused on supporting individuals impacted by domestic violence, deepening her understanding of trauma-informed care and how to hold space for difficult, often complex emotional healing.
