David Bond, Psy.D., (PSY32595) is a licensed psychologist and has been working at Focus since 2016. He is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) for individuals, and the Gottman Model for couples.

His clinical experience includes working at the San Diego Psychiatric Hospital, the CRF Vista Balboa group home facility, and counseled military combat veterans at the San Diego Vet Center.  Prior to his clinical work, David was a sworn police officer for 27 years and retired at the

rank of Captain in 2015. David also serves with PERT, the District Attorney's Office,and at Miramar College as an in-service and academy law enforcement instructor.
