Candice Tapia is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #158396). Candice integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness-based practices into her therapy. Candice is passionate about supporting first responders and their families, drawing from her own experience growing up in a law enforcement family. She draws on her background as a yoga instructor, to help clients manage stress, anxiety, and the unique demands of the first responder lifestyle. She is also trained in Critical Incident Stress Management.
Candice earned her bachelor’s degree in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego, and her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from National University.
She is committed to providing a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to heal and grow.
